GE Profile Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

As its name suggests, the GE Profile series is targeted at consumers who want to incorporate cutting-edge technologies into their kitchen. This fridge is loaded with them all including the Keurig K cup coffee maker on the door, to a clever dispenser of water. But these flourishes don't mask mediocre performance, especially in the refrigerator's freezer and an ineffective temperature-controlled drawer. Given that this fridge costs more, I'd expect better.

Apart from that minor flaw the fridge is a great option. It features a large freezer compartment which is uncommon for counter-depth French door fridges. It also has a large capacity for frozen food items compared to other models.

Inside the fridge, you'll find 17 shelves and compartments. The fridge compartment offers 18.5 cubic feet of space, which is about what you would expect from the size of a French door refrigerator that costs this much. It comes with a decent size freezer in the left side. However it's not the biggest one I've seen.

You can alter the shelves in both compartments for a custom storage solution. The interior design of the GE PYE22PYNFS is attractive. The LED lighting adds an attractive touch. The bins for storage inside include a third shelf that can be folded down to store tall items. The drawers have temperature controls, so you can set them for Meat, Beverage or Deli settings. The drawers are simple to open and shut however I found the plastic's textured coatings a bit hard on my fingers.

The GE PGE29BYTFS Smart Refrigerator includes the complete set of features you'd expect from a fridge in this price range, including Wi-Fi and app support via GE's SmartHQ software. The app, available for iOS and Android devices can let you control your refrigerator from anywhere in the world, and has many options for customizing. It also gives you notifications when a door is left open, when the refrigerator or freezer needs to be defrosted and when it's time to change the filter.

It would be nice if GE PYE22PYNFS included Precise fill, an option available in a few other GE fridges that allow you to preset how many cups of water you'd like to dispense at a time. It does offer a countdown on the fridge display to display how much water you have remaining, but that's not as helpful as Precise Fill.

Bosch Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

The Bosch French-door Refrigerator is a stunning piece of equipment. It's designed to appear like it's a seamless component of your kitchen. The fridge uses fingerprint-resistant stainless steel, which is a great feature for busy households. It also boasts a veggie compartment that helps keep fruits and vegetables fresher longer, and two compressors to ensure the best food preservation. The Ice maker is among the top we've tested and produces a pyramid-shaped Ice with low use of water. This fridge is the perfect option for a single family or kitchenettes looking for a built-in look and top of the line food preservation.

This fridge was the top-rated refrigerator in our Refrigerators Test for several reasons. The temperature of the freezer remained constant at just above 0°F and never changed by more than a fraction, this is crucial to prevent freezing burn. The fridge section of the fridge also did well. It reached the initial temperature within an hour, and remained at the temperature throughout our testing.

Bosch is known for its premium appliances, so it's no surprise that this counter depth refrigerator is also a smart appliance with the option to connect to your home Wi-Fi as well as Bosch's Home Connect platform. This app allows you to monitor and manage your fridge remotely using your smartphone or tablet. The refrigerator is costly, but offers great features and functionality at a fair price.

It's important to understand the limitations of your fridge. You might need to be creative with tall items because the fridge is limited in shelf space. Additionally, the shelves are not sprillproof and can be easily damaged or stained by sharp objects. It's easy to remove the refrigerator trays, but be sure to clean them regularly to prevent the growth of mold.

LG Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

The LG LRFLC2706S counter-depth fridge is a great option for those who need plenty of space in a small frame. It has a sleek, fingerprint-resistant stainless-steel finish and features thick handles that make them comfortable to grip. Inside, the fridge features a standard French-door layout with gallon-sized door bins on each door and two rows of spill-capture shelves and a set of more spacious drawers. The top right shelf can be folded down to give taller items more space. There's also a full-width drawer for deli items and an internal water dispenser.

One of the great features of this refrigerator is that the ice maker is in the freezer, making it simple to move ice into the fridge for use when needed.  french door fridge sale  has thoughtful design elements, too, like sliding drawers to help you better organize the placement of items. It also has a large container for storing frozen food, and a separate container for ice.

Smart InstaView panel is a cool feature of the refrigerator. It allows you to control the temperature of your fridge and lighting using your smartphone. It's an easy way to keep track of your refrigerator and control it, especially when you're away from home.

Although the Smart InstaView is a neat feature, it doesn't necessarily add to the overall performance of the refrigerator. The refrigerator took longer to chill food and defrost it than the other fridges we tried. This is likely due to its bigger capacity.

The doors pose a problem with this refrigerator. The handles that are sunken allow smaller people to open them from the bottom. However taller people will struggle to close them without slamming. It would have been much better if they came with a front-mounted handles.

The LG Counter-Depth MAX is a ideal option for those looking to combine the benefits of a French-door refrigerator's aesthetics with a more efficient layout. Its capacity is above average for counter-depth models and is able to cool evenly. It's also a bit cheaper than the most expensive counter depth refrigerators that have an ice maker, making it a great choice.

Frigidaire Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

If you're looking for a French door fridge that doesn't cost you a fortune and isn't expensive, this Frigidaire is a great choice. It has a simple design that isn't as visually striking like some of the competitors but it does have enough features that make it a great option. Its most important feature, the temperature adjustable drawer, helps to keep food items like vegetables and meat fresher for longer. It also comes with a huge ice maker and a water dispenser.

Another feature that is worth mentioning is the "Chill Drawer" that sits above the two crisper bins. This drawer allows you to redirect a portion of your fridge's cooling power into this area, so it can be used to store food items which need extra attention. You can alter this feature using an adjustable slider that is located just outside of the drawer. You can also use this to set a general cooling setting for the entire fridge however, I've found that changing the general settings tends to produce better results than specific ones.

During my tests, I discovered that the temperatures in the refrigerator were fairly consistent across different parts of the refrigerator. The temperatures in the middle, top and bottom of the fridge didn't differ significantly from 38 degrees. That's a good performance, but it doesn't quite rank among the best in our ratings.

This fridge has a few other neat features, including a temperature-monitoring display that alerts you to fluctuations and provides a forecast for the day ahead. You can also connect this fridge to a smart thermometer for more precise readings of your fridge's temperature.

The Frigidaire FGHB2866PF's exterior is made of stainless steel with a grey-bodied body which has a "smudge-proof" finish. It wards off streaks and fingerprints better than other stainless steel finishes I've seen.
